To Become a Mecklenburg Wildlife Club Member:

1. Be a member of NRA and have copy of membership card

2. Possess a valid conceal carry permit or have a background check from the local sheriff that allows you to purchase a pistol

3. Attend a board meeting (third Monday at each month) at 6:00 pm and complete the required paperwork. You will need a club members to sponsor you and sign off on your forms. If you do not know a member, a suggestion would be to begin shooting the monthly IDPA match as we have multiple members that shoot IDPA.

4. Pay 250.00 membership fee

5. If you will be using the pistol and rifle facilities you must complete a NRA safety class before using the rifle/pistol facilities or be accompanied by a MWC member. This class is offered by MWC and you will receive information on this at the board meeting. This class is available through the club and is approximately $75.00 in Cost.

6. You must demonstrate gun safety, communicate evidence of the range rules, and evidence maturity to be approved to use the rifle and pistol facilities. Any deviation from safety and not following rules is grounds for rifle and pistol privileges to be removed.
